MOVIE POSTER: ALL CITY MEDIA

AllCity was formed in 2000 by David Frost and Peter Hanson with the goal to blend good design with film marketing. AllCity are continuing to ensure that good design and film can go hand in hand.

I looked into the way the do their work which is displayed in this presentation > 'How we do things'. The company strive to use as many different styles of design to create the movie posters and add campaigns and explain the importance of not just working in photoshop. This is something I will consider looking further into for the design of my poster to get the most out of my work.

I then collected a selection of the companies work that experimented with type, image, colour and layout in really interesting ways. 

The company not only design their work portrait but also experiment with landscape designs called 'quads' to show variation in their design work and were it can be distributed, such as billboards and tube stations.
